Dr. Ken Cadieux is a highly respected veterinarian whose career spanned more than five decades of dedicated service to animals and their owners. After completing two years at the University of Alberta, he continued his studies for 4 years at the Western College of Veterinary Medicine (WCVM) in Saskatoon, where he was part of the second graduating class of the new veterinary college—one of only 30 students in that pioneering group.

Throughout his 52 years in practice, Dr. Cadieux’s passion for veterinary medicine and his tireless work ethic made a lasting impact on the community. His interests covered all areas of veterinary medicine, from caring for pets to supporting livestock producers. Over the course of his career, he accomplished more than 600,000 pregnancy tests and 30,000 semen evaluations, reflecting his exceptional dedication to the cattle industry and the rural way of life he loved.

Dr. Cadieux, now retired, but actively looking after his practice, enjoys driving through pastures to check on cattle and, with a twinkle in his eye, hunt gophers along the way. His deep commitment to clients and colleagues made him a cornerstone of the veterinary community.

He worked side by side with his wife, Irene, who has been an integral part of the practice and continues to manage the accounting to this day. Together, they built not just a clinic, but a welcoming and trusted place for generations of clients and their animals.

Dr. Rafael Pineda, Practice Manager, is proud to be practicing veterinary medicine and helping animals of all kinds live healthier, happier lives. He is equally grateful for the opportunity to lead and mentor a wonderful team whose dedication and teamwork make each day run smoothly and joyfully.
